El Barrio means East Harlem: Weaving Green Into the Tapestry

East Harlem, also known as El Barrio, is a neighborhood misunderstood; and the locals don't mind because it keeps East Harlem to itself. Full of locally maintained gardens and green spaces, I began to appreciate the grandeur of sprouting green in concrete.
